About me

After graduating from New York University with a masters degree in clinical social work, I completed a four-year post graduate training program, and received certification in psychoanalysis. I am also certified in AEDP (Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy) and integrate other treatment modalities such as mindfulness and yoga therapy. My New York state license number is 058272.

​I treat people with depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, eating problems, self-defeating behaviors as well as those who simply want to find more meaning and joy in life. I have appeared as an expert guest on national television talk shows, published articles and given presentations for professional audiences and the general public. I also provide clinical supervision and serve as a program advisory board member at a psychoanalytic training institute in New York City.

About appointments

Sessions are generally 45 minutes or one hour long. ​Fee is determined by session length, frequency and time of appointment. We can discuss your specific needs on the phone or in our initial consultation.
 
I provide a monthly billing statement containing the coding necessary for your insurance company to process your claim. If you have out-of-network benefits, your insurance company should reimburse you directly for sessions.
